I Lift Up My Eyes To The Mountains - Where Does My Help Come From?

As our world is facing so much uncertainty, fear and sorrow, we have been reminded of the precious words from Psalm 121 in the Bible:

" I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you - the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore ". ( NIV )

Proverbs 30:5 tells us that " Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him ". ( NIV ).

We can seek comfort and shelter in God's word and His presence. He is always watching over His children. He is our shield.

We are praying for everyone who reads this - that you will see this in your own life even now.

We pray for wisdom and creativity for everyone who is homeschooling - and especially those who find themselves thrown into homeschooling due to the current world situation. May the Lord bless your days, and your time with your family in a very special way. The Lord will be faithful to go before you and give you what you need for each day.

We pray also for the President and his administration, our scientists and doctors that they will receive divine wisdom and strength as they are working tirelessly to lead the nation, protect our people and find medicine to combat the COVID-19 virus.

We pray for our health care workers for protection and for strength to endure the work they have to do.

We pray for the elderly and those who have underlying conditions for special protection.

We pray for our children that they will not be afraid but will feel the presence and comfort of Jesus.

We pray for those who are sick, or mourning over lost loved ones to this pandemic. We pray for comfort in Jesus name.

We pray for our nation - and the world - for the Lords mercy and grace to be poured out, for people to find salvation and comfort in Jesus, and for healing.

As we walk through this and follow the guidelines put forth from whitehouse.gov and cdc.gov, as well as az.gov and azhealth.gov/COVID19 here in Arizona, remember, we are in this together and we will get through this. It is a wonderful blessing to have internet and so many resources available online. Some libraries, like scottsdalelibrary.org, have options of still ordering books etc for pick up at drive through windows, and they have many online resources for the public to make use of. You can also get resource help through AFHE.org and HSLDA.org in regards to homeschooling.

Our homeschool support group will not be able to meet in person at this time due to the above guidelines, but we are always just an email away, and we will be happy to answer questions and point you to homeschool resources we know of.

The Lord put another scripture on our heart just before posting. It is the core of the Father's heart towards our world - don't miss this: " For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life ". ( NIV ).

The Lord bless you and be near to you, and bring you comfort and peace.

We are praying for you,

HIS 43:19 leadership
